DenTaL ApPoiNtMeNt

I woke up today at 6.45 am. I'm supposed to meet Suryana and Noriz at Guardian at 8.30am. I got ready and reached the school on time. Not surprised, I didn't see Suryana and Noriz anywhere. Suryana is always late; I'm getting used to it. I started panicking when it was 5 minutes to 9. My dental appointment was at 9! I decided to take off. I walked briskly and kept looking back for signs of Suryana. I then saw her trying to catch up with me a few yards back. I let her catch up with me.

We then walked to school together. When we reached the school, we went to the dental - van..? - and saw Fauziana. She informed us that Mardiana was still inside since 8.20 am! We waited impatiently although we were filled with dread. There were mosquitoes around. ARGH! I kept scratching my legs and moving about.

An hour passed. Mardiana still haven't come out yet and there were still no signs of Noriz. Nadzirah told us she was being x-rayed(her mouth, not her). We three decided to go to Guardian to pass time as well as see if Noriz is waiting but I will be surprised if she was there waiting for us as it was 1 hour after our meeting time!

So we went to Guardian, no signs of her, and came back again. On the way back to school Mardiana text-ed me she was out and Fauziana went home by taxi. Wow she got a lot of money to spare... Anyway we went back to the van. It actually looked like a caravan. Mardiana was outside and told us she had to go to Tampines Polyclinic to get her teeth out. We followed Mardiana there (the dentist brought us there). The dentist look and sound like Gabriel!! Hahahax.. Can pass as father and son! lol! (no offense!)

He was very funny and a great sport. Cracked a lot of jokes! So when we reached the clinic, Mardiana called her mum and said she's coming in half an hour's time (patient are not allowed to register without parent's consent). We left Mardiana and went back to school. It was 10.30 already! I got ready for my turn. Done. Suryana's turn... Done. The dentist was gentle and not rough like my frigging primary school dentist!! Then we decided to go to the Polyclinic to wait for Mardiana and give her moral support! Hahaha.. Waited for her for a very long time; about an hour or so...! Finally she came out. BUT THE TOOTH IS NOT OUT YET! Her mother told us that she has to go to Singapore General Hospital to get the tooth out. Poor Mardiana. She can't talk and her mouth is so bloody. She went 3 places to just to get a tooth out!

Hahaha this is my longest post so far.. I think.

WhAt DriNk Am i

BrOkE

That's what my family are: broke... It sucks to be poor really. Well, we are not really poor as in poor but more like middle class poor. LOL! I miss last year when my mum, sis and I went to parkway parade almost every weekend to go shopping. Now we can't spend money on unnecessary things.

Let's see, my grandmother is under some check up and the bill is a thousand plus bucks, which is more than my mum's salary. I can tell my mum sort of blame her mother but it's not really her fault. As people grow, they become more unfit.

GoiNg HomE & .... GUYS??

I was going home from choir just now. I was in the bus, reaching my stop when, to my horror, I realised my bracelet was missing. I panicked! I assumed it must have unclasped by it self or something. It was no ordinary bracelet. My group of best friends got similar bracelets each, with our names engraved onto it. Ouch! I lost it! Sad case.

Anyhoo, so I alighted the bus when it reached my stop. I walked through under this flat and saw two guys, around my age, standing at the staircase talking. They both look at me. It was unnerving. I look ahead, ignoring them. When I came nearer to them (I had to past them, worse luck!) one of them said "Assalamualaikum" ( a Malay greeting). I replied nonchalantly,"Waalaikumsalam".

What's up with that?? Sheesh. Actually they don't look like those jerks I keep seeing everywhere but hell, I don't give a damn.

This reminds me of a few months back. I was going home from choir also and took the same route home. I saw this two guys picking up their little bother from school. They saw me and --DAMN! -- We were walking the same way. They walked behind me and one of them kept "sweet"-ing at me. You know, it sounds like a kissing noise. Lots of people do that nowadays when they want to attract someone's attention. I just kept on going, you know, ignoring them. But that idiot didn't give up! *rolls eyes* In the end he stopped and a frustrated "ARGH!!" followed!

One for me, zero for him.

My Mother Was Never A Kid

My sis borrowed a book from the library. It was an interesitng book.

Review:
My Mother Was Never A Kid
by Francine Pascal
My Mother Was Never A Kid is a funny, honest story told by Victoria Martin, a thirteen year old girl living in New York City in the 1970s. Victoria is thirteen and always in trouble. Victoria has is a bratty little sister that constantly gets her in trouble and a mother that she doesn't think was ever a kid. Veronica gets in trouble when she visits her cousin for a weekend and gets caught with illegal drugs. She just happened to be holding them when her aunt walked out. On the dreaded train ride home to her angry mother, she is somehow transported back in time. She meets her own mother, at her age, and is intially unable to recognize her. Later, she realizes that her mother was indeed a kid and she is able to contrast and compare their similarities and differences and get in some more trouble. I think that this book is a good read, especially since it totally relates to a lot of people. Francine Pascal's present time writing style contributes to the actual-time essence that brings out the reality of it all. Victoria's experience going back to the twenties was rather far-fetched, but it adds up to the thrill it gave me reading this book. This book strikes a chord with most every teenage, because who hasn't felt at one time or another that their parents just can't relate to them? This book helps to give another perspective and show that yes, our parents once were kids themselves who lived, loved and got in trouble just like we did. It's a must read for any teenager and also I think this book is great for all ages, even above thirteen. Once you start, you can't stop!

A Really Bad Day
There was this guy at a bar, just looking at his drink. He stays like that for half of an hour. Then, this big trouble-making truck driver steps next to him, takes the drink from the guy, and just drinks it all down. The poor man starts crying. The truck driver says, "Come on man, I was just joking. Here, I'll buy you another drink. I just can't stand to see a man cry.""No, it's not that. This day is the worst of my life. First, I fall asleep, and I go late to my office. My boss, outrageous, fires me. When I leave the building, to my car, I found out it was stolen. The police said that they can do nothing. I get a cab to return home, and when I leave it, I remember I left my wallet and credit cards there. The cab driver just drives away.""I go home, and when I get there, I find my wife in bed with the gardener. I leave home, and come to this bar. And just when I was thinking about putting an end to my life, you show up and drink my poison."

JaLaN HaRi RaYa

Today I went jalan hari raya with Dinah, Fauziana, Noriz, Danial, Mardiana, Farhanah S., Suryana, Firraihan and Rizwan. We went to their house at that respective order of their names. The kain prevented me from walking fast. I felt like I'm walking like a duck. Everyone's house was so damn nice. Haha I'm so jealous. We hang around Mardiana's house longer because of her cute brother. Everyone is so entertained by him.

After Suryana's house we went to the Tampines interchange to go to Fir's house and saw Sly, Taufik and all their fans there. All the girls wanted to see Taufik so the rest of us waited impatiently. Danial kept asking me impatiently, "Can we eat now???" I let the guys go eat at Burger King first. I didn't want to go with them. If you are smart you can guess. And it's not because I want to see Taufik! Hahaha =P

Farhanah, Fauziana and Noriz have to leave early (they left before going my house which is the last stop). So they help me save my mum's money! Muahahaha!!

My sister wanted to take picture of us with the digital camera. So I got the picture transferred to the computer already.
Here's the pic:

Haha sorry Fir, half of your face gone =P

I took the rest of the picture with my film camera. So I'll try and get them develpoed soon.

Mardiana made the day fun! She was so funny and wacky (as usual)! Everytime go people's house must go toilet! Haha! We were so chatty and loud at times! And it was really fun although at first it was sort of awkward (guys one side girls another). But it got ok after awhile. Chased for bus 3 times today!! =S So embarrasing!

Mardiana wanted to watch The Champions at my house, but didn't get to finish it. Next week k, when going out with Aisyah and gang...

Holidays? School? Somehow these two words don't really go together.

We are supposed to have our holidays right? But yet we still have to go to school. In my case, it's because of choir practices. But hey, I can understand. With the Sec One orientation coming soon and the Singapore Youth Festival, we have to practice hard. Every Monday and Wednesday, til December.

For those people who don't need to go to school, count you lucky stars....

But hey, I don't give a damn.

Anyway, while I'm talking about school, my mind recall that our principle Ms Yeo is leaving. Why are people so glad, I wonder. I prefer Ms Yeo to Mdm Cheng. Miss Yeo is kinder and -- I dunno. Smart I suppose. Not academically wise, but more of her way of thinking, you know?

My Random Rantings; this is what I would call this post.

-unknown-

"I suck. Life suck"

That's what everyone say... Including me.

It's true though. I suck, my life suck... But only if you look at the dark side.

And really, you can change all those. Your life doesn't control itself, we ourselves control it. I dunno, I'm soooo having a fresh start next year and make good full use of it...

I hope I will...

But it was boring, with no computer. I'm an internet addict.

ViSiToRs!

Sighz. My mood: EXHAUSTED!

The 2nd family of the day just left. It was an ENORMOUS family..!! They must like, travel in a big lorry or something! 1 bottle or Sarsi gone just by serving them. I don't want anyone to come, but on the other hand, I'm bored so.. Haiz..

AhEm

I changed the layout... yes AGAIN! Haha.... I MADE this layout.. Making layout is fun, to kill time and boredome. Hahax.. So anyone who want me do do a new blog template for you, feel free to ask!

HaRi RaYa

Sorry I didn't blog yesterday, I have no time to do it. I went out celebrating Hari Raya.

At 10, we left with our father to his house. It was the first time I've been in his new house. It's nice even though it's small. It's sort of small, but cozy and homey. Then we waited for my 2nd aunt to come and bring us to Johor. You see, we are going to visit our uncle who stayed at Johor. The journey there was ok except that I was stuck in the backseat with 3 other people. My cousin sitting beside me had room to move but she didn't! And who got squished? MEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was dark in the west. Big rainclouds were looming on the horizon and the sea was choppy. It was also high tide. It was like, a centimetres below the land. "If it rained, there will sure to be a flood", said my 2nd aunt. Soon, speaking of rain, it was raining cats and dogs. It was so sudden.

Anyway, Johor has this lazy and relax atmosphere, which is totally opposite the busy Singapore.. My unncle's bangalow was very cool! It was nice and big! The walls were painted a nice shade of yellow and deep red, which matches. I always wanted a coloured-painted wall!

We stayed there for lunch. I didn't eat much. We left after lunch to avoid the jam at the Ccauseway. We were stuck in the jam for an hour or so.. No vehicles were allowed in the right lane and we found out later that it was because it was reserved for the state cars carrying our ministers (Mah Bow Tan and Tharman Shanmuugaratnam) who were on their way back from the Sultan of Johor's place.

Then we went to our other aunts and uncles houses(in Singapore of course). It was a long day! Came home at night. Slept at 10, which is like, so early! (My average sleeping hours start from in between 11.30 to 1.30)

Yea so... that's all folks! ^.^

WeEeE!!

I had a fun time chatting with Dan and Justin again. Justin was really funny, he cracked me up lots of times. It has been a long time since someone made me laugh like that. i didn't know Justin is a really fun guy(no offence Justin ). It was my first time is ages chatting wit the same 3 people for hours in the same conversation. i guess i have to thanks them for helping me kill time while waiting for break fast.

Can'T sLeeP

It's 11.40 pm as i write this. I'm typing this in my handphone and i will send it to my email as MMS. I can't sleep so i thought i might as well write for my blog. If i didn't know better, I'd say I'm suffering from insomnia.
My mum just finished hanging the festival lights in the living room. I helped her but she did the main job. I wanted to hang it outside but she doesn't. I know why; It's because she doesn't want those strangers to know It's a Muslim house and come knocking on our door, selling this and that.
I seem to have different emotions mixed up in me. Confusion and frustrations are the main ones. Hmmm let's just see how the days go by yeah?

TeAsEd!

Haha it's so fun to tease Danial. Hope me and Justin didn't come on strong though. We were laughing about my MSN display picture.

Here is how it started:

*I changed my display picture to *

[06:01:23 PM] `[Justin]'`!: eeeewwww.....
[06:01:26 PM] `[Justin]'`!: grosss...
[06:01:33 PM] `[Justin]'`!: what's that?
[06:01:43 PM] `[Justin]'`!: i noe...
[06:01:53 PM] `[Justin]'`!: that's danial when he's angry!

I laughed hysterically. Then I chat with Danial.

Me: HAHAHAHAHAHA Justin was so funny!!
Dan: What's so funny?
Me: Nothing nothing...
--------------------------------------------------------
And then he keep on asking me and Justin what we were laughing about. Me and Justin decided to keep Dan in suspense and refused to tell him. We started teasing him. It was so fun. Nice to see that for once, I'm not the one being teased. When we refused to tell him, he left in a huff. Me and Justin carried on chatting.

[06:45:14 PM] `[Justin]'`!: the more i look at ur display pic, the more I laugh
[06:45:28 PM] `[Justin]'`!: it's soooooooo funny... Imagine Dan wif
that expression...
[06:45:50 PM] me: hahahaha ok now your making ME laugh!!
[06:46:03 PM] `[Justin]'`!: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA!!!
[06:46:28 PM] `[Justin]'`!: I sure hope he's not too angry...
[06:46:53 PM] me: nah.. He'll get over it.. He doesn't bear grudges
[06:46:57 PM] me: (luckily)
[06:47:13 PM] `[Justin]'`!: yep.... Otherwise we'll be in trouble
[06:47:17 PM] `[Justin]'`!: (gulp)

Danial, don't take it too hard..

TiRiNg DaY

I had my last religious class today. I received the exam certificate. I scored a B4, 97 over a total of hundred-plus marks.

Then at 2.30, I went to the bazaar at Geylang to buy some food and stuff. I saw lots of nice clothes for Hari Raya there. I also bought a red bag for Hari Raya. It cost 25 bucks but the seller gave us a $5 discount after my mum's persuades.

Then went all over the stuffy bazaar and my legs are aching and tired! I was real glad when I came home! I also saw my primary school friend at the bus stop on the way home. She's still in Primary School. Primary 5 I think.. Or was it Primary 4?? I can't remember, it seems so long since the last time I saw her.

I helped my mum bake some cornflakes cookies for Hari Raya. I had to crunch them up into smaller pieces. My hands hurts a bit while doing it because they were quite sharp, but nothing I can't handle. Yap, sooo.. I'm going to sprinkle some chocolate rice over them now, adios!

Saturday, November 06, 2004

I remembered a few months back, I was playing a Yahoo! game. My ID was red_choccolat and this guy chatted with me.

him: hey there.. can i ask? what does your name mean?
me: um..
him: sunburned negro?

And I was like, "HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!" but at the same time, "oh my god!" If you know what I mean. At least if you can find the humour you can understand the "HAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!" and if you have a soft spot you'll understand the "oh my god!" part.

LaSt LeSsOn oF inLinE sKaTiNg

Aww!!!! I want more skating lesson with Mike! He's so fun! Hahahaha all his 8 students sure to miss him.

He gave Suryana, Farhanah and me new names; Aku, Tak, Tau respectively(it means I don't know). I prefer Selamat Hari Raya, they're funnier. =P

Suryana fell again today. It's because Shukrie got in her way. As I watched, it happened in a slow motion. Suryana shrieked, one of her skates moved forward, she lost balance and finally she fell on her butt. Mike said, "Wow, that was a loud bump I heard".

At the end of the lesson, Mike borrowed a pen from Suryana and wrote something on a piece of paper with the words RESERVED written on it in big and bold letters. He flipped the paper over so we can't see what he wrote.

When he was leaving he put the paper on a table and flipped it to the front. He left immediately. All of us crowded over the paper and read,

"feel free to call me
go out or just anywhere
or just to talk! =o)
[his handphone number] or [his email]

please indicate
you are
Selamat Hari Raya
or
Aku Tak Tau
or
lian hua or hua lian"

Hua Lian and Lian Hua are name he gave two Chinese girls. It means Flower Lotus and Lotus Flower I THINK.

Farhanah kept the paper!! Hahhaha! Actually I wanted to keep but she asked first so it's just fair she get to keep it. Both of us like the "please indicate you are Selamat Hari Raya or Aku Tak Tau" part. ^.^

2nd LeSsOn of iNLiNe sKaTiNg

Today's skating lesson was quite fun. I had my first fall. Had a pain in my butt for a few minutes.

Our "coach" was very fun. Always joke around. When his friend asked what is Suryana's, Farhanah's and my name, he told him, "Aiyah, easylah. Call them Selamat, Hari, Raya" and pointed to Suryana, Farhanah and me respectively. For the rest the lesson, I was called "Raya". It was hilarious, me and Farhanah kept laughing non-stop about it.

Farhanah was called Sarah because she looked like one of his friend who is called Sarah. Nice name actually. We trio kept teasing him, "Your friend or girlfriend??? Girlfriend right?!??!"
Inthe end he said "Aiyah I gay lah happy???" Then we went "Ewwwww!" Hahaha he's a good sport... Lucky to have him as our instructor.

OHMYGOSH!! IT'S A STALKER!!

Just now I went to This Fashion at Tampines with Farhanah. While waiting for Suryana, we browsed some skirts to kill time. Then Farhanah walked past a little kid bout 2 years old who was holding McDonald's french fries. After which, the kid shrieked and trotted behind her. Farhanah freaked out and quickly ran around a rack. The kid then went back to someone, whom I assumed to be her maid. I watched in amusement.

Farhanah then stepped out from her hiding place and joined me. She whispered to me, "If the kid follows me again, I'm going to grab her fries". I had a fit of giggles then. The kid, catching sight of Farhanah, shrieked again and ran up to her. Farhanah quickly ran to the other side of the shop. I followed her.

It was so hilarious. More so when our stalker is a two-year-old child!

LaTe fOr cHoiR

I woke up at 7 this morning. I was supposed to meet my friends at 7.30! What's worse, the trip to my school was half an hour!! I panicked then I received an SMS on cue. My friend told me she, too, was going to be late. I felt relieved.

I quickly bathe and dressed quickly. I decided to take a bus to Kembangan MRT station and take the MRT to Tampines. The bus was SOO crowded! It was so crowded until I had to stand near the front door, and that for the next 4 or so bus stops, no one is allowed to go on board.

I reached Tampines at 8.50. Yea! It was 10 minutes faster then taking a bus to school (even though I only need to take one bus).
It was my first time going to school by MRT, and I hope the last time!

InLiNe SkAtiNg

I had inline skating lessons yesterday. Only 8 people signed up for it. It was so pathetic. 40 places are available and only 8 joined it! That's like, one-fifth of it!

5 girls and 3 boys joined, and 6 of them are from choir (YEA, CHOIR ROCKS!).

The instructor was patient and friendly. He is my sister's age.

Anyway, the lesson went well. Surprisingly, it was quite easy to balance. Easier then learning to balance a bicycle. I had trouble braking the blades though, and drawing a "circle".

I didn't fell.. Ok I did.. One time.. But I landed on my knees and it didn't hurt.. Because we were wearing knee pads. But 'S' and 'F' did though.. 'S' fell 2 times and F fell one time. But 'F' fell hard on her butt and of course it hurt. Her palm is also hurt but nothing serious.... Except for a blue black.

Since we were all fasting, we were really thirsty. I felt like I just ran around the school field 5 times. Imagine my thirst!

After that me and my friend Suryana saw a cat and two cute lil' kittens at a grasspatch near the canteen. The mother was pretty, it was grey in colour, you know, like those Siamese cat. The two kittens were very small, my guess is they were only 4 weeks old. Both were black, with 4 socks (white little paws).

I was chatting with my friend Dan on MSN Messenger and I told him about it. This is how our
conversation went:

me: just now after skating, I saw a cat...
Danial: uum.. ok...
me: Then.. GOT TWO KITTENS!!!! It was SOOOO cute!!
Dan: i thot u talking about me
me: Hahaha as if! Anyway, the kittens are black wif white cocks
me: ooops............... i mean socks
Dan: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
me: Stop it.. It's not funny...
Dan: Okok.. So....Um.... They have no cocks after all??

FacE

I watched Face last night. The starting was really scary but the middle part to the ending wasn't so. The show is partly a horror show but mostly about mystery. It's also not nonsense like other horror movie. One example is Sisters. That movie was REALLY scary, scoring 20 on a scale of 1 to 10. However, the ending didn't make much sense. It was quite abrupt.
